TEI Focuses On Business & Education Partnerships
The
2007-2008 Teacher Executive Institute (TEI) program began in October with a
dinner and orientation session for this year’s participants.
The
program is in its fourteenth year of operation, and its results strengthen
the partnership between the professionals in education and the business
community.
2007-2008 participants include Regina Blount, Western Vance High; Jessica
Brown, E.M.Rollins Elementary; Lanisha Daye; Clark Street, Julie Earnhardt,
Vance Charter; Jennifer Gracias, L.B. Yancey Elementary; Casey Hall, Vance
County Teacher of the Year – Henderson Middle; Phillita Harris; Dabney
Elementary, Nicholas Hendley, Southern Vance High; Ann Hoyle, Aycock
Elementary; Randi Oxendine, Carver Elementary; Jessie Rice; New Hope
Elementary; Joy Suther, Zeb Vance Elementary; Katrina Tunstall,
Eaton-Johnson Middle; Carnetta Thomas, Pinkston Street Elementary; Tanisha
Woods, E.O. Young Elementary; Tess Webb-Lewis, Henderson Middle and Brett
Wilson, Northern Vance High.
TEI
is funded by the Vance County Public School Foundation, which is made up of
private contributions, foundation grants and donations from local
businesses. The Henderson-Vance Chamber partners with the Public School
Foundation to coordinate the program.
TEI
